My daughters have been attending martial arts classes here for well over 2 years now and they love it! I have seen their confidence and self esteem grow outside of lessons too, with better concentration at school and achieving higher academic grades. Sensei Steve is masterful at keeping lessons fun whilst ensuring the children reach their full potential. We are attending the Ellesmere Port karate class but when my daughters have missed a session, we are always welcome at the Chester Karate classes too. The team at SnwKarate are always welcoming, encouraging and helpful with many black belt team leaders in every class. We as parents can see the standards are kept very high but allowing all to progress at their own pace. I highly recommend Snwkarate classes to all parents wishing for their children to be happy and confident. ~ Jan F

My daughter, Sophie started training at SNW in 2011 when she was six. She had low confidence and was quite shy. She is now a 2nd Dan black belt and assists sensei Steve teaching once a week. She’s now confident in everything she does and not so shy anymore! I can honestly say that karate has changed her life and moulded her into a strong, confident woman who can seriously look after herself! I couldn’t recommend SNW karate enough. It really helped Sophie gain confidence, fitness and mental toughness. The team are more like a family and really look out for each other, they have made such a difference in her life. ~ David A

My son has been with SNW Karate for around five years, and during this time he has been able to make friends, have fun, feel empowered, and learn a fantastic style of Karate. I heartily recommend to any parent SNK Karate, in any of the venue's, you will not be disappointed. I am not. My daughter started at Shushinkai North West in Jan 2011, the facilities and quality of teaching are excellent, after only a few lessons we could see the increase in her overall confidence, and this has grown belt after belt. There are some fantastic learnings through the study of Karate and its etiquette that can be applied to all parts of life. She has made some great friends and there is a very welcoming community sprit, so much so just before my 40th birthday in Jan 2013 I started training. Highly Recommended!!!! ~ Scott M

Been going for just over 5 months now; the best escape to a wonderful environment! The best sensei's you'll ever meet! A careful methodical approach to each lesson whilst getting straight to the point; allowing you to leave each time having gained the knowledge, experience, and friendship together as one group no matter your level. Friendly, inviting, and a vast myriad of other students on the same journey together. If I could, I'd go everyday! Everyone's welcome and everyone benefits from each other! Our Daughter has attended SNW Karate for a few months now and gained her Yellow belt yesterday. She loves her sessions and cannot miss it. Sensai Steve is amazing and so caring with my daughter (aswell as the others) and spent time guiding her. He nurtures the SNW Karate family as thats what we all are. The confidence in both my kids who are in the group is out if this world and so lovely to see. I’ve been going to snwkarate for around six years now. It’s helped me grow my confidence and build a higher self-esteem. I’ve made many friends that I will keep for a lifetime and my sensis push me to my absolute best, encouraging me along the way to black belt. My daughter and I both started karate at Sensei Steves Ellesmere Port class 18 months ago and we both look forward to his lessons each week. The classes are fun and friendly yet with the emphasis very much on learning and development. My daughters teacher said that he has noticed a vast improvement in her confidence and in her physical education. Since our daughter who's 10, joined Snw Karate in January of this year, her confidence has grown so much and she looks forward to her sessions every week. Everyone is really friendly and welcoming and the black belts are always willing to help, which has made her settling in period so much easier. My children love Snw Karate. The Sensei’s, and their assistants, are fantastic with the children - patient, encouraging, and full of positive energy. Snw Karate is brilliant, my daughter originally came from an unprofessional unskilled karate school. Steve and Paul along with their black belt helpers have started again with her from scratch ,improved her skills and confidence allowing her to rise though some belts. She loves going to the classes and looks forward to them all week, she wishes she could go everyday. ~ Alex M

The team at Snw Karate are amazing, my daughter loves going to her lessons and looks forward to her belt exams It took her a little while to get into, I think mainly because it is fairly strict, but in a respectful way, but we stuck it out and she's now achieved her red belt! I joined SNW Karate about 18 months ago and absolutely love it, i was apprehensive at first being one of the oldest pupils but Sensei Steve and his students make you feel welcome immediately, his attention to detail whilst training and the knowledge he passes on to his students is unparalleled. Great club. My daughter loves going, she has great fun and has progressed amazingly. It's great to see the confidence grow in all the kids as they train and progress. Sensi Steve, Sensi Paul and Sensi Jade make up a great team and their black belt helpers are fab too. Also great flexibility to train any day bar Sunday at 3 different locations. I have been a student for 6 months now. I have a neurological disorder and sensei has helped me immensely with my strength and balance. As activity instructor for children i appreciate the time energy and dedication it takes also sensei Bolland's facilitation and adaption to ages an individual's and as a whole group is very impressive. Me and my two nephews Tyler and Lucas are happy we joined. ~ Peter S

The classes are intuitive the sensei are both relaxed and fun to be around. I honestly cannot fault sensei, Steve Bolland and Paul, for anything both are amazing. If your looking for structure and evening activities this a good place to bring both yourself and your children. ~ Mind W
